Telephone conversation with Jean Liston, November 1994 re Stewart Hogg. She reported that she, along with the rest of her family, went to Port Melbourne to see Stewart Hogg and his ship "Banffshire" which was in port at the time. Jean says that Stewart took them over the ship and she vividly remembers the Lascars (Indian seamen) "looking up our skirts" as she and her sister Elsie walked up the open steps between decks. Stewart and his brother were both in the British merchant navy. His brother also tried to organise to see Jean and her family at one stage, but this fell through for some reason.
